VTCT Skills Entry Level Award in Employability Skills (Entry 3)
The primary outcome of the VTCT Entry Level Award in Employability Skills (Entry 3) is to support you by overcoming barriers to entering work, particularly those relating to searching for jobs, applying for jobs, the interview process and safe learning in the workplace.
The VTCT Entry Level Award in Employability Skills (Entry 3) is a qualification that will support you to overcome barriers to entering work. This qualification is designed for learners aged 14 years or over who wish to improve their chances of gaining employment. There are no formal requirements to undertake this qualification.
This qualification is made up of four units including, searching for a job, applying for a job, interview skills, and safe learning in the workplace.
Throughout these units you will learn how to find out about opportunities for work and learn how to search for job vacancies.
You will learn about the different methods of applying for jobs and develop the skills to apply for jobs.
You also develop the knowledge and skills to prepare for, undertake and review your own performance at an interview. You will also develop your knowledge of safe working practices.
These units will together help you to overcome the barriers to entering work and improve your chances of employment.
This qualification will support your personal development and improve your chances of employment through overcoming some of the barriers preventing entry to work.
The employability skills developed in this qualification will prepare you to successfully gain employment in any sector including the service industries, engineering, and healthcare to name but a few.
